WHAT WE NEED
We are hiring a full-time, salaried/exempt Housekeeping Manager that will lead, train, and manage the housekeeping department. This position will report directly to the Assistant General Manager and must be able to work well with the owner and all department managers. Someone with a high level of professional hospitality that engages and interacts with members and guests, contributing to their overall satisfaction.
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
This position requires a lodging professional, with excellent people skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail. This Manager will be accountable for properly ensuring Member’s lodging facilities and other Ranch buildings and amenities are effectively cleaned and maintained to our standards of cleanliness, sanitation and safety. Will create a positive teamwork environment for all to enjoy working in each day.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Previous success as a hospitality professional is a must.
· Ability to make a positive impact when managing others.
· Communicates effectively both in writing and verbally.
· Pre-employment background check and drug screenings are required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
· Leads by example and provides continuous training and development of staff.
· Ensures all staff maintains facilities at a “Five Star” level.
· All lodging facilities are always fully stocked with proper supplies.
· All areas have plumbing, lights, appliances, and HVAC working properly.
· Guest rooms have appropriate ranch information, directory, menus, brochures, etc.
· Develop cleaning schedule and checklists.
· Assist with development of annual lodging budget.
· Accountable for lodging budget goals.
· Will participate in safety training meetings.
· Attend weekly staff meetings, event meetings and F & B meetings.
· May be required to work varying schedule to reflect the business needs of the ranch due to changing seasons or event demands.
· Perform any other job-related duties assigned by a manager.
ONGOING TASKS
· Inspect rooms to ensure they are being cleaned well and are member ready.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ENVIRONMENT
· Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, reaching and pulling.
· Moving or rearranging furnishings.
· Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
· May include working around dust/mites/chemicals/odors.
· May need to use some protective equipment, such as gloves or eye guards.
· May work in variable outside weather conditions on a frequent basis.

The pay is a competitive salary based on the skills and experience of the best candidate. In addition to the base pay, Big Easy Ranch also offers full-time employees paid vacation days, sick days, healthcare benefits, life insurance and one lunch meal provided per day.
